Reflection on Summer.
First text post in a long time? I think so. So I’m not really good with introductions, so let’s cut to the chase. This summer—like many previous summers— has flew by.
Let’s recap?
I spent the half of my summer at the High Schools Health Careers Program at UMASS where I created new friendships, experienced a ‘college’ life-style, learned from medical professionals—and as a bonus, get paid.
After my internship, I got away to Newport, Rhode Island for a week with my family. It’s always nice to spend time with the whole family, with no stress and just relaxation.
I also took part in the Ice-Cream Festival at Elm Park, watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with friends, and go out to eat.
I also made numerous trips to Boston throughout the summer to fix my cravings. This included one of many stops to Mixx, PinkBerry, BonChon, and Hot Pot Buffet.
Hmm, that’s all I can recall from this summer.
Well, cheers to having food, family, and a small group of friends.
